Auditions for Men and Women
Company Members, Apprentice and Junior Company

When: Submit materials by May 1, 2021. Semi-Finalists will be given a link to learn choreography and an improvisational task. Semi-Finalists will need to record and submit video by May 8.

 

What:   Applicants should have a solid background in Contemporary, Modern, Ballet, Partnering and Improvisation. Dancers should be open to the collaborative process. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply. Send CV, CV reel and/or performance links, full body shot and headshot to: sonia@soniaplumbdance.org

Where:      Audition Finalists will be provided with a link for virtual one-on-one auditions and potentially In person auditions depending on COVID restrictions. Decisions will be made by May15.

Rehearsals for ALL positions will begin in June for our outdoor Summer series of events beginning in July.

Company Members and Apprentice Positions are for the 2021/2022 season running September 2021 to June 2022. Salary commensurate with experience. Junior Company members are for the Summer series with potential for 2021/2022 season.

 

Director of Annual Giving and Events

The Director of Annual Giving and Events is responsible for the execution of Sonia Plumb Dance Company’s annual giving program and special events. Reporting to and working directly with the Leadership Team, the Director of Annual Giving and Events will play a vital role in growing the donation revenue for SPDC’s programming. In collaboration with the Leadership Team, responsibilities include meeting or exceeding the annual fund and events-related fundraising goals; acknowledging, stewarding and growing annual fund contributions; developing and successfully implementing special events; representing the organization to donors, vendors, and the public; producing various fundraising-related collateral; maintaining the donor database; and managing volunteers. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and willing to take complete ownership of critical duties. This job is expected to grow quickly over the next year.
